  • Calling All Reporters
    Posted on: 2007-10-01

Our neighborhood Web site is a wonderful place to visit to see what is happening in our association. However, the board really wants this to go further and try to include reports on everything going on in the neighborhood, such as:

Neighborhood Safety Reports: Speeds on roads, snow removal for sidewalks, and vandalism reports, etc.
Architectural Reports: Common or uncommon drawings for approved play structures, deck enclosures, pools, etc.
Maintenance Reports: Ideas for seasonal landscaping needs, reports of trees or shrubs being fixed at common areas, common area conditions and schedules (for grass cutting, events, games, etc.), ideas for approved gardens, ideas for type of sidewalk trees to plant, etc.
Event Reports: Joeri DeSira always puts together a nice report outlining the exciting events, however, it would really spice things up to add a few more comments from new members or from veterans of the events to give us the details. Tell us what the hits were and what new ideas have been floating around out there.
Favorite Neighbor Report: Report something good about a neighbor that helped you or a neighbor’s child that watered your plants and brought in your mail while you were gone.

These are all just suggestions. Any submission to our newsletter will be reviewed and considered. We need REPORTERS! Please submit any reports or ideas to a board member!
  • Friendly Neighborhood Watch

The Board recently received a report from a member that they have been noticing some suspicious activity in the subdivision. There have been unidentified people trying to solicit, unidentified cars stopping on the street in the middle of the night, even some minor theft of hubcabs. These incidences have been reported to DeWitt Township Police, but our very best bet is to always be on the lookout for each other. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the police & you may contact the Board as well.
